Environmental policy
The Company is committed to managing its activities, products and services by constantly improving its respect for the environment and for the health of those involved parts.
The Management, being aware that only prevention and control can result in better environmental protection, always undertakes to perform what is necessary to:
-
pursue the constant improvement of the environmental conditions and pollution prevention;

ensure the respect for the applicable laws, regulations and rules and perform a periodic check of their implementation;
- keep under control possible pollution sources;

ensure the right management of the fluid drainage, paying particular attention to the fluids resulting from barreling and polishing
-
implement all is needed to prevent unwanted discharge into the atmosphere;
-
use management systems and procedures complying with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 14001 norm in order to prevent and/or avoid any damage or danger for the health, safety and public wellness, and any environmental damage to the flora, fauna and to the ecosystem in general;

responsibly manage waste collection and disposal;

minimize the consumption of energy and materials;

reduce the use of dangerous substances;

inform the suppliers and in particular the contractors in order to ensure their correct environmental behavior;

evaluate the possible environmental impact before realizing a new plant or a new process;
-
coordinate the activities of the system for the environmental management with those of the system for the quality management, thus favoring an integrated approach towards these two aspects;
-
suitably involve the levels of the organization structure in the implementation of the company strategic principles and of the improvement programs;
-
inform the concerned parties about the company commitment towards health, safety and environment;
-
inform the whole company staff about the present environmental policy and make it available to anyone who might require it. |
