The company today
All over the world the FBM trademark is synonym of cookware accessories. As sector leader La Termoplastic FBM is the owner of more than 200 patents in different countries applying both to the design and to the technological innovation of its proposals.
It is the only sector company in the world able to offer the customer companies a complete catalogue of original offers and to project and realize, on demand, exclusive production lines thanks to its advanced design centre and to the excellence of its research and development departments. Termoplastic FBM exports its products all over Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa.
Supported by 130 employees the company produces 140 million pieces per year. The company headquarter, which is spread over 12 thousand square meters, is located in Arsago Seprio, while two production and distribution branches are active in Brazil and Mexico. The activity is conducted by a high automation level of the plants and is supported by constant technological investments.
The administration and production management of the company is controlled by an integrated computer system which is able to follow in real time each detail of the production chain, thus programming the activity according to the most convenient economy and opportunity criteria. The attention paid to the processing of each procedure allowed La Termoplastic FBM to obtain in 1999 the ISO 9001 quality certification. Furthermore, the care for the environment granted the company the 14001/2000 certification for the respect of the ecologic balances.
Thanks to a forty-year long professional background which has allowed the company to obtain, step by step, the sector leadership, FBM is now ready to reach new technological and quality goals. |
